The concept for Mexico Restaurante y Barra began with a lonely sign that was once sitting in a Mexican antique shop. Now framed with spectacular bright red neon, it is glowing once again to welcome guests to its new home.
Larry Nicola, creator of Mexico, has a particular affection for Mexico’s exciting cuisine and culture. Larry was chef to two world class resorts in Mexico and also created an organic farm in the local mountains to enhance his creations. When he found this stunning sign that simply read “Mexico” he knew he wanted to express everything he felt about the country and its cuisine in this unique restaurant on the vibrant Santa Monica Boulevard corridor. Mexico welcomes the community to eat, drink and join the fiesta.
